SMOOTH YOUR LEGS BODY HAIR EXFOLIATOR REMOVER Review
I bought this product at CVS and was about to return it, it took darn long to do, so I stopped using it and forgot about it. Then one day this past summer, I was at a park with the kids I watch and I didn’t have time to shave, so I remembered I had this in my purse and I figured, hey I’ll give it a shot again. So, I put on a new pad and followed the directions–don’t press too hard, fast circular motions–3 times one way, 3 times the other way and it worked! I think the difference is, that my hair was shorter the second time around and the faster and lighter you do it the better. I’m Italian, so I have thick/coarse hair and it took care of it fine. Like I said, the hair should be shorter, not long–just shave and wait a day or two to use it and then maintain it from there. I use one pad per leg, so refills are a necessity, but my legs feel so smooth and I can go 3-4 days in between shaving–compared to just one with shaving! I definitely recommend these. Nad’s No-Heat Hair Removal Gel, 6 oz (170 g) Review
I know everybody is different, but this product really is my preference when it comes to hair removal. And I’ve tried just about everything available apart from laser surgery and radio frequency hair removal. I even purchased the finest epilator money could buy only to find out that I’m just not hard core enough to use one of those puppies! It just takes wayyyyy too long to get all the hair off of one leg. The first time I tried epilating, I was taking deep breaths and trying to watch a movie to distract myself from the agony. The only reason I finished both legs was because I didn’t want to be a pussy and throw in the towel. Depilatory creams always smell like death to me no matter how hard they try to cover up the chemicals with perfume. At the suggestion of a friend, I tried Veet on my naughty bits once and ended up with a chemical burn. It made for a hilarious story, but I’m not brave enough to try any more creams. (I never liked any of them for my legs anyhow) I’ve also used different types of waxes, and have even made my own, but they tend to leave my skin all bumpy and rash covered. I also find them more painful than Nad’s. I follow the instructions and I end up with awesome results when I use Nad’s gel. It is the least painful method for me, and the only product that doesn’t give me bumps and rashes. For some reason I also get ingrown hairs when I use other products, but not with Nad’s. Every person is different, so you never know what you are going to like best unless you try different things. Read more...(610 words, 1 image, estimated 2:26 mins reading time)
Nothing is worse than having more hair on your face than your boyfriend. Not to mention that men prefer their girlfriends without five o’clock shadows. Laser hairremoval may be the solution to such problems. Hey, maybe your boyfriend will even help pay for it! A valentine’s gift perhaps?
Laser hairremoval isn’t for everyone. Blonde and red hair are too light and do not contain the melanin pigment at which the laser aims in order to slow the hair’s growth process. Melanin is the pigment that causes hair to have color and skin to tan. Laser treatments can be done on blondes and redheads, but with less pleasing results.
